What is multi-user access?

Multi-user access allows more than one person to work in your company file at the same time. This increases productivity and allows you to set individual user access levels.

What licenses are required for multi-user access?

When you purchased QuickBooks, you either purchased a 1 user or a multi-user license.
You can use a 1 user license for one user (installation) and would need to add a user license (or purchase another 1 user license) for a second user.
You can use a multi-user license for all installations up to the number of users you purchased the license for.

What if I only have a 1 user license and want multi-user access?
